The Toyota 4A-GE 20V Silvertop is an evolution of the famed 4A-GE engine series, known for its advanced technology and impressive performance. Introduced in the early 1990s, the 4A-GE 20V Silvertop features a 1.6-liter inline-four configuration, but with significant upgrades over its predecessors, including a five-valve-per-cylinder head. This design, incorporating three intake valves and two exhaust valves per cylinder, allows for superior airflow and higher revving potential, resulting in increased power output and efficiency.
